Over the last year, our Adoption program at ICM has experienced a record number of domestic adoptions! While it is so exciting to see those who have been waiting for a child, finally be able to welcome a little one into their family, it is equally meaningful and challenging to see the brave birth mothers who demonstrate such love and sacrifice on behalf of their child. It takes an almost unfathomable amount of courage to say, "I want the best for my baby, and right now I don't feel I can give that to my child, so I will allow another set of parents to raise them." Our hope at ICM is that whenever you think of the placing parents in an adoption situation, you will do so with a sense of respect and honor for the difficult, selfless, choice they made!
Family Care
The summer months often bring an influx of needs to families in our communities who struggle to make ends meet. We love that we can partner with the Body of Christ through hosting children in families who are in crisis situations. Still, we are always in need of more volunteers!
