HOME STUDY AND RELATED ADOPTION FEES
As of June, 2007
Adoption Home Study Application fee (non-refundable): $250
Domestic Home Study: $1500
International Home Study: $1700
Updated Home Study (original less than 2 years): $1000
Placement fee, for baby from our program (Includes birth parent services/ liaison to court/ post placement visits.): $5000
Post Placement Visits /report per visit: $250
Any visit to the home for updates or training,licensing monitor visits, not within the time frame of the home study is $75 per contact hour, plus mileage.
The above prices include everything needed to prepare for the adoption such as training, licensing, coordination of agencies, and is good for one year. Adoptive families are expected to pay other fees to coordinating agencies, countries, over night postage as needed, birth parent living expenses (only as approved by a court), legal expenses, travel, etc. as needed.
ICM is not allowed to charge any fees related to the licensing process only.
ICM will not charge additional fees beyond those in contract unless reasonably required by circumstances and disclosed before incurred.
All fees for the home study are to be paid before the signatures for Finalization of the Adoption is done. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY.
Occasionally people apply for grants and they will need copies of the home study. We will be happy to send them to the foundations since grants may be paid to the agency and not to the individual.
Refund policy:
Since none of the above fees are charged until services are performed no money will be refunded. If, for any reason, a client is able to prove that a service was not completed or performed adequately, the grievance procedures (given else where in this document) will be in effect.
