Nadia Berger, LCSW

Nadia grew up in Champaign, IL. She received her Bachelors of Social Work from Olivet Nazarene University and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Illinois. Over the last ten years Nadia has been blessed to serve in a variety of roles within the social service field. She has also provided mental health training to law enforcement agencies and school districts as well as presenting guest lectures at the University of Illinois School of Social Work. Speaking at women’s retreats and outreach events is another area in which Nadia has had the honor of serving the Lord.


Bonny Van Dalsen

Bonny was born in Bloomington, Il where she currently resides.  She study at Richland Community College and has over 30 years in accounting and office managing experience.   She was a Sunday school teacher for over 12 years at FCC in Clinton, Il. Bonny has three sons and enjoys spending time with her husband and sons and taking long walks.


Judy Zylstra

A native of Minnesota, Judy now lives in Villa Grove where her husband is minister at FCC.  They have two grown children who reside in Minnesota.  Judy has BM and MM degrees in piano pedagogy from St. Cloud State University and enjoys teaching private piano lessons as well as various musical endeavors.  In her spare time she enjoys reading and playing board games with family and friends.  She is very happy to be a part of the ICM team.


Lindsay Brooks, LPC

Lindsay was born and raised in the Midwest, primarily Indiana.  She received her BA in Communication from Purdue University and then went on to receive her MA in Counseling from Lincoln Christian University.  Lindsay has a passion for helping individuals overcome traumatic experiences and  a deep desire to see families thrive. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with family and friends, making the perfect cup of coffee, and soaking in the sunshine.

 


Sharnell Knapp

Sharnell was raised in Fairbury, Illinois and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She enjoys running outdoors, trying new recipes, and spending time with family and friends. Her passion for empowering vulnerable families and advocating for children makes working for ICM an incredible opportunity.


Amanda Cooper, LCSW

Director of Adoption Ministry

Amanda was born and raised in Jacksonville, Illinois. She obtained her B.A. in Spanish from Harding University and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois. She is the second of three children and remains very close to her family. Amanda’s hobbies include traveling, reading, and serving on mission trips to Honduras.

Dayna grew up in Loda, IL and graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology. Dayna is very involved in her church’s youth group where she is a small group leader and worship leader. Dayna has also enjoyed serving in missionary work in the Philippines, Ghana, and in Mexico. Some of Dayna’s favorite things include camping, hiking, beaches, traveling, and the great outdoors.


 Katie Dye

Katie was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs and moved to Champaign-Urbana after receiving her degree in Secondary English Education from DePaul University. She currently lives in Champaign with her husband and daughter and  loves the fact that she finally has a college football team to support! In her free time, Katie enjoys baking, craft projects, playing games, watching movies, and trying to keep up with her daughter.  After teaching in Urbana for 3 years, Katie developed a passion for loving and serving families in the CU community, and she’s excited to be in a role that allows her to serve families full-time at Illini Christian Ministries.
